It’s become increasingly evident that what conservatives have to hold against former President Obama is more than just your average distain for liberal policies.
Although those policies are enough to make any good Republican hot under the collar, as it turns out even that was a cover for more sinister and even illegal activities.
More and more information is pointing to the former President breaking all kinds of laws in conjunction with information gathering and completely unwarranted spying on American citizens.
The National Security Agency under former President Barack Obama routinely violated American privacy protections while scouring through overseas intercepts and failed to disclose the extent of the problems until the final days before Donald Trump was elected president last fall, according to once top-secret documents that chronicle some of the most serious constitutional abuses to date by the U.S. intelligence community.
More than 5 percent, or one out of every 20 searches seeking upstream Internet data on Americans inside the NSA’s so-called Section 702 database violated the safeguards Obama and his intelligence chiefs vowed to follow in 2011, according to one classified internal report reviewed by Circa.
The Obama administration self-disclosed the problems at a closed-door hearing Oct. 26 before the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that set off alarm.
Trump was elected less than two weeks later.
It’s hard to take these egregious violations of our privacy as anything other than a blatant disregard of not only the law but our rights as private citizens.
Treating the every day American like insignificant ants in the yard of the rich and powerful may be something that the Washington elite are used to brushing off as normal, but those of us living the life under the magnifying glass are starting to feel the heat.
If there’s anyone who values justice left in Washington, they will chase this down and prosecute those responsible for the complete lack of respect for the American people.
